Stoddard Group International is a 20-year-old Washington, DC-based strategic and financial advisory firm at the forefront of international development, energy transition and capital raising working in emerging, domestic and frontier markets.

SGI was founded to advise organizations facing complex strategic and financial decisions. Today, it works with clients on capital, real estate, and energy initiatives where structure, sequencing, and execution risk are central considerations.

SGI engages across strategic and financial work, real estate portfolio and development initiatives, and energy and infrastructure planning and implementation oversight. It operates independently, valued for judgment, objectivity, and staying engaged as decisions move from strategy into execution.

Our energy and infrastructure advisory capabilities have grown out of client engagements involving power-intensive projects. We work across infrastructure planning, supplier and contractor evaluation, incentives, financing structures, and provide advisory oversight through installation and implementation.
